The special “rules” of the three letters ב,כ,פ as the first letter of the word are presented. This revolves around the idea of their having a dot (dagesh) in them or not. The concept of the “root” of a Hebrew verb and word is explained. The “four forms of the present tense” are explained as corresponding to the:
