Our Approach
Rabbi Shlomo Eitan
Hebrew for All was founded by Shlomo Eitan, a seasoned educator with a deep love of the language and its heritage.
For more than 40 years, Eitan has been designing Hebrew classes while teaching students in Jerusalem. His programs and curriculum have been taught at several respected educational institutions, including The Hebrew University and the Jerusalem College of Technology.
Eitan’s coursework was designed using what he learned and continues to learn over a lengthy and ongoing teaching career, allowing him to develop a system that can help anyone and everyone learn Hebrew. By utilizing shorter lessons and incorporating videos, he found students experienced greater comprehension than those using traditional learning methods. Shlomo makes himself directly available to all students, online or otherwise, to help enhance their learning and overcome any difficulties.
As always, he’s excited to help bring people the opportunity of learning authentic Hebrew in an accessible and functional way. He is passionate about your understanding successfully, and indeed falling in love with Hebrew, too.
Our Approach
The strength is in the structure. Contrary to every other Hebrew Learning site, in our approach structure is king. Starting with Course 1 we teach you the Master Plan. Our easy-to-learn method to recognize verb patterns. We combine this with exercises that will build your hebrew dictionary organically.
Is speaking Hebrew your goal?
Through years of experience Shlomo has learned that the goal of speaking Hebrew is attained most easily by those who first master the “operating system” (or, in his words, “The Master Plan”) of the language.
His advice: Take his courses and master all the skills he offers. He believes, and has actually experienced that students who have mastered “the operating system” go on to become great Hebrew speakers – fast!
